General Laser has a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineering Technician at their business. This is a permanent, full time position.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent or relevant experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Working knowledge of CNC laser and brake press machines
  • Set up various types of CNC machines including Laser, Brake Press, Mig Welder, and Spot Welder
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Role is a full time role based in Sunshine West

Remuneration/Salary

  • $73,150 to $80,000 per annum plus super, depending on skills and experience
  • Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates, to be discussed with the successful applicant.
