About the role

Cooke Civil Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Skid Steer, HC operator to join our family business in Adelaide. This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for construction and a dedication to delivering high-quality results. We specialise in road profiling and asphalt preparation.

What you'll be doing

Operating a skid steer loader and other heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently

Performing various construction tasks, including excavation, site preparation, and material handling

Assisting with the completion of construction projects to the highest standards

Maintaining equipment and work areas to ensure optimal performance and safety

Collaborating with the broader construction team to deliver projects on time and within budget

What we're looking for

Relevant experience operating skid steer loaders and other construction equipment

Experience with profiling head and broom attachments

Hold a valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role
