About the role

Topiary' is seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Front of House (FOH) team member to join our vibrant café in Tea Tree Gully, SA. In this casual position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for our guests.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner

Taking customer orders and communicating them clearly to the kitchen team

Serving food and beverages to customers in a timely and attentive manner

Maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house area

Handling cash and card transactions accurately

Assisting with other front-of-house duties as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in a customer-facing role, ideally in a café or restaurant environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling

A positive, friendly and reliable attitude

The ability to work effectively as part of a team

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
