About Us:
Eden’s Excavations is a respected earthmoving and piling contractor based in Epping, VIC. We deliver high-quality basement, excavation, and piling packages across the construction industry. With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a driven and experienced Construction / Operations Manager to take the lead across our projects and operations.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the successful delivery of our excavation and piling projects, while managing the day-to-day operations of the business. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard—while also maintaining our fleet and managing our personnel. In addition, the role includes business development responsibilities such as chasing new leads, building client relationships, and helping grow the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the end-to-end delivery of excavation, piling, and basement construction projects.

Manage company operations including personnel, equipment, scheduling, and site logistics.

Coordinate with the workshop and maintenance team to ensure all machinery is serviced, safe, and operational.

Drive efficiencies and ensure projects are completed correctly, without delays or costly mistakes.

Monitor health and safety across all worksites and enforce compliance.

Handle budgeting, forecasting, and progress reporting for all projects.

Conduct business development including client follow-ups, quoting, and securing new work.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Report directly to the Managing Director.
