I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Manager to join my clients growing team. As a highly respected medium-sized business with a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to expand their operations and solidify their position as an industry leader.

The Role:

The Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their civil construction operations. This role will play a pivotal part in driving their growth and success by:

• Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing long-term strategic plans to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
• Financial Management: Overseeing financial performance, budgeting, and reporting to ensure sound financial health.
• Operations Management: Managing day-to-day operations, including project management, resource allocation, and quality control.
• Team Leadership: Building and leading a high-performing team capable of delivering exceptional results. Includes ongoing training and development of existing employees.
• Client Relationships: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Extensive experience in the civil construction industry, with a strong preference for those with a background in power/utilities projects.
• Proven track record of leading and managing successful civil construction projects.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate teams.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction.
