About Us
PY Agronomy is a small, family-owned business based in the Central West of NSW. We provide agronomic consulting services to local clients and are passionate about agriculture and community. We’re looking for a reliable and resourceful individual to support both our business operations and family logistics.
About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the PY Agronomy operation in three core areas including but not limited to family logistics and support; administration and communication support; operations support to PY Ag consultants including system management, soil and seed testing and other enabling functions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Family support and logistics. Provide caring and organised daily support to the family, including school runs, after-school logistics, basic household coordination.
A high level of confidentiality and discretion. Trust is the core component of this role and must be built on, maintained and respected at all times, including not discussing the operations of the family, the business or other related matters outside the workplace.
Running of all systems and administration duties for the operational side of the PY Agronomy business – including but not limited to, admin, phone calls, data entry, timesheet management, financial/receipting requirements, and client communications.
Organisation, planning and anticipation. This role requires someone who is an exceptional planner, organiser and able to deliver results. This includes working autonomously and anticipating the future needs of the family and the business and solving problems within the Operational Support role and checking key and critical information with the Director when needed.
Clear and timely communication. With all PY Ag stakeholders, including telecommunications and IT providers, consultants, contractors and clients when appropriate, and remain calm and professional in all communications within the business.
WHS. Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the business and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself, others, the business and family.

Selection Criteria
Proactive and solutions-focused attitude, with a proven history of problem solving, anticipating next steps and being an exceptional organiser.
Proven experience in the care, management and logistic of children, including a valid Working With Children Check.
At least 2 years administration experience or similar.
Ability to operate a computer competently and efficiently (or capable of learning quickly), including software (such as Microsoft word, excel, outlook), google, zoom and other teleconferencing services.
Full NSW Drivers Licence and no current traffic or other offences.
Working collaboratively across various environments including, respectful, professional and timely communication and interactions and a genuine engagement in work activities.
