About the role

Trinity Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Educator to join our growing team in Heathcote, Victoria. This is a full-time role that offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and wellbeing of young children in our care. As a Childcare Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of the children through engaging learning experiences and a nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing

Implementing age-appropriate educational programs and activities that support the physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth of children

Providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment that meets the individual needs of each child

Observing and documenting children's progress and development, and collaborating with families to support their child's learning and wellbeing

Ensuring compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and standards

Actively participating in team meetings, professional development and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to enrol in a traineeship

Be able to work Monday to Friday within the span of opening hours 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Experience working in a childcare or early learning setting, preferably with children aged 0-5 years

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Enthusiasm for creating engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences

Commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive and culturally responsive environment

A valid Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
