About the role

Seeking passionate and dedicated childcare educators or trainees to join our team at the Ocean Shores Early Learning Centre. This is a full-time position based in Ocean Shores, NSW 2483, where you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners.

What you'll be doing

• Caring for and supervising children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and developmental needs are met
• Implementing engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that foster children's physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth
• Maintaining accurate records, observations and documentation on each child's progress
• Communicating effectively with parents and families to build strong partnerships
• Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures
• Participating in ongoing professional development to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or willingness to undertake a traineeship to achieve this qualification)
• Experience working in a childcare or early learning environment, preferably with children aged 0-5 years
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families and colleagues
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain these)
