The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will actively support operations management at our Curragh Site to safely and successfully deliver daily production plans in accordance with the company’s values, legislation and HSEQ procedures. Curragh is a full service site with a workforce of 120. With a strong spirit of continuous improvement this role will delivery outcomes that benefit both the site and boarder Dyno Nobel business.

Leveraging your strong relationship and teamwork attitude this role will see you engage key internal and external stakeholders to drive a performance culture through the achievement of key performance indicators (both business and individual) and continuous improvement.

Being passionate about all team members coming to work and putting their best foot forward this role will participate in the training of site personnel in current training & HSEQ competencies where required.

As well as being a self-starting independent team member with a positive and proactive attitude, you will also have a commitment to positively contributing to a Zero Harm safety culture;

Demonstrated strong operational experience within the explosives/mining industry in a Supervisory role

A passion for leadership and a desire to inspire and motivate teams

Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships & a supportive environment

Experience in bulk truck delivery and on bench blasting operations

Understanding of legislative requirements & Intermediate computer literacy

Experience conducting Investigations

Specific training and licences include:

Qld Security Clearance Card

Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence (desirable)

High Risk Forklift (desirable)

Supervisor S123 competency

Shot Firers Licence

Cert IV TAE
