Wilchem formulates and manufactures micro-nutrients for a wide range of agricultural and industrial applications with distribution of these products via a specialist distributor network throughout South Australia and interstate.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, principal duties include following procedures in all operations for liquids manufacture including OH&S practices.

PRODUCTION: Assisting in production of trace element liquids as per prescribed formulations. Upkeep of basic documentation, general housekeeping of the site and maintenance of plant and equipment.

PRODUCT: Following prescribed formulations, accurately measure appropriate ingredients into manufacturing plant and blend according to procedures. Plant preparation and unloading bulk bags, pump operation and loading/unloading of tankers.

Packaging of smaller volume packs (10L, 20L) from larger tanks, including lifting of small packs onto pallets.

Documentation of production and stock movements, transfer of liquids for storage and transportation, maintenance of equipment, quality assurance testing, general housekeeping and other duties as required.

General warehouse duties including loading and unloading of trucks, unloading of shipping containers and stacking warehoused materials in a safe manner.

Lifting of small raw material bags, climbing stairs and working at elevated levels are an important aspect of this position.

Forklift license essential and experience in a liquid handling facility will be highly regarded.

You must have reliable transport to be onsite from 7am on rostered days.
