TRG is working with a rapidly growing tech scale-up based in Melbourne who are seeking a Cloud Systems Engineer to help design, optimise, and maintain its cloud and hybrid systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient
• Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code tools to automate routine tasks and accelerate infrastructure change
• Continuously assess and improve the performance, reliability, and security of systems across cloud and on-prem environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure minimal disruption and optimal system uptime
• Build automation around deployments, monitoring, and maintenance to reduce manual effort
• Partner with internal development teams to provide infrastructure expertise and collaborate on new initiatives

What You'll Bring

• Experience with scripting/programming languages (e.g. Bash, Python)
• 4+ years of AWS services experience, such as S3, Lambda, SNS, SES, SQS, EC2, and RDS
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Terraform and/or CloudFormation)
• Deep understanding of AWS networking services and containerisation (Docker/ECS)
• Awareness of security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC-2)
