Your Opportunity
While many people gamble for entertainment, a large number of Australians develop gambling habits that negatively impact themselves, their families and their communities. The Gamble Aware Program provides free, confidential, and non-judgmental support for individuals, families, and community members who may be concerned about gambling and its effects.
You will lead the clinical delivery of the Gamble Aware Program, offering expert support to Counsellors, Peer Workers and the Program Manager as well as providing direct support to the program's participants. The role will involve maintaining high quality evidence-based practise, overseeing clinical governance and driving continuous service improvement.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide evidence based individual therapy to complex clients
- Facilitate and oversee group counselling sessions
- Provide direct feedback and support to Counsellors regarding treatment plans through monthly clinical supervision.
- Review and develop clinical policies, procedures, and treatment plans
- Together with Program Manager lead, plan and direct the provision of clinical services
- Undertake a range of administration tasks including client notes and reports.
Requirements for Success:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology
- AHPRA registration as Psychologist/ Clinical Psychologist
- Psychology Board approved Supervisor or able to obtain
- Minimum three years' experience in delivery of clinical interventions to clients with complex needs
- Experience in the provision of individual and group counselling
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership
- Current NSW Driving Licence
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
