About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Corporate Strategy and Reporting Officer.

In this role you will;

• Assist in the coordination of Council's Corporate Planning and Reporting Program, including the development and production of relevant IP&R documents (e.g., Community Strategic Plan, Delivery Program, Operational Plan and Annual Report).

• Develop and support corporate processes for the front-end administration of external grant applications.

• Collaborate across the business to continuously improve corporate planning and reporting, and foster integration with other corporate functions (e.g., Finance and project governance).

• Support the broader functions of the Corporate Strategy and Insights Section

The position will require the successful applicant to have:

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience.

Relevant experience in corporate strategy and planning, reporting, and relating business processes (e.g., financial planning, project planning).

Knowledge and experience in Integrated Planning and Reporting framework and requirements.

Understanding of grant funding processes and integration with corporate planning, project planning etc.

Knowledge of and demonstrated experience working with relevant legislation, government policy and practice (including Local, State and Federal), specifically the Local Government Act 1993).

High standard of interpersonal and communications skills including negotiation, networking and community consultation.

Demonstrated time management skills and experience in working independently to deliver outcomes
