We are looking for a Retail Manager for our bottleshop at the Jacobs Well Hotel.

About you:

• Minimum 3 years managerial experience in the liquor industry
• Extensive wine, beer and spirits product knowledge
• Ability to manage and work with other staff and communicate well
• Forklift experience – must have driven a forklift previously, license can follow if required
• Current valid QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
• Stocktake experience both on and off premise
• Understand and deliver great customer service and know how to drive it within the team
• Stock receiving and management

The Role:

• Understand the ordering process and buying patterns, when to buy or not to buy
• Manage stock between the store and storage shed/ cool room
• Store presentation – set up of catalogues and maintaining a high level of store appearance
• Store ranging – ability to identify slow moving products and move them on
• Deliver growth and budget targets for the bottleshop
• Rostering and management of wage controls
• Receiving and checking off of stock
• Build a good relationship with our suppliers
