This is a fantastic permanent full time opportunity for a passionate and self-motivated person to be the foundation of our Sydney warehouse and trade sales centre located in Chipping Norton NSW 2170.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual who has a passion and focus on customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of our Sydney warehouse and trade sales centre. This exciting opportunity offers a high level of variety. In many instances you will be the first person our clients see so it is imperative that you have a great customer focus as well as a high level of organisation skills. You will also be required to have a high level of communication skills in order to provide ongoing feedback and support to other team members and report back to the management team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your main tasks will include:

· Ensuring that the warehouse and showroom is open for business from 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

· Receiving stock into the warehouse

· Providing sales and transaction support to walk in trade customers

· Providing incoming phone sales and transaction support and directing incoming technical calls to the relevant department.

· Managing smooth operations of the warehouse and trade showroom

Skills and Experience

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

· Automatic gate motors and boom gates

· Warehouse and logistics

· Forklift licence desirable or willing to obtain a forklift licence

· Internal sales and exceptional customer service

· Sales management

The ideal candidate will have / be:

· Excellent time management and organisational skills

· Exceptional customer service

· Self-driven

· Experience in a similar industry. Either working in a similar role in gate automation or someone who has been a field technician and is looking for a change in environment with more regular hours

· Ability to handle a variety of tasks and flexibility in each day

· An interest and desire to learn more about the gate automation industry
