Job type: Casual (min. 30 Hours per week) 3-4 days

Qualifications & Skills:
Vocational qualifications such as Certificate in IV in Cookery
At least 2 years of work experience
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Organisational SkillsKitchen Equipment Knowledge
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a team
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure all menus are regularly updated, with special attention to seasonal ingredients and availability.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu, demonstrating advanced culinary techniques and overseeing cooking procedures.
Ensure that sufficient stocks of all materials are being kept and stored under the correct conditions with regard to Food Safety NSW guidelines
Adhere to all hygiene and sanitation regulations, ensuring the kitchen is always compliant with statutory requirements.
Continuously update knowledge and skills to improve both personal development and the quality of service at the establishment.
Liaise with management regarding special requests, functions, and event catering.
Constantly update your knowledge and skills for the good of the establishment.
Perform additional duties as required by management or other department.
Maintain high standards in the preparation and service of all menu items.
Ensure proper kitchen operation procedures, including correct food labelling, stock rotation, stock ordering, and monitoring of waste.
