The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the training, assessment and continuing professional development of emergency physicians as well as the advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Position

Are you passionate about building people-first cultures and driving meaningful change in the workplace? We're looking for a dynamic Manager, People & Culture to lead our People strategy at ACEM.

In this influential role, you’ll lead a contemporary People & Culture function that aligns closely with our College’s strategic goals. You’ll drive high-impact initiatives in workforce planning, leadership development, recruitment, employee wellbeing, and workplace culture—while ensuring everything we do is people focused, compliant, and future-ready. You’ll be a key advisor to senior leaders, shaping how we support and grow our most important asset — our people.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience
  • Experience in leadership, coaching, and change management
  • A passion for creating inclusive and thriving workplaces
  • Experience in a Membership based organisation
