About the role:

This leadership role is focused on supporting the day-to-day Supported Independent Living (SIL) program operations in the organisation and supporting disability support workers to develop and improve practice. You will work collegially with the Business Development and Partnership Manager as you support and implement program structure and consistency. You will be an effective, determined and creative leader that takes the opportunity to develop and support a SIL program. This position requires strong administrative skills to ensure effective program planning occurs, supporting program structure and predictability for participants and disability support workers

Qualifications/Requirements:

Proven experience within Disability Accommodation

Knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of NDIS frameworks and SIL services

Demonstrated support and direction of staff to achieve desired outcomes for participants

Developed time management, organisational and communication skills.

Blue and Yellow cards

NDIS Worker Orientation Modules Certification

Ability to provide Police Check and LCS2/7

First Aid and CPR

Valid open driver’s licence and reliable transport

A qualification in Social Work, Disability Support, Community Services, or a related field.
