About your new role

The Business Improvement Capability Lead provides internal consultancy, expertise, and training in Business Improvement. The role is focused on maintaining minimum standards and achieving target performance.

Responsibilities include:

Own Business Improvement standards and methods, ensuring processes and templates are maintained in line with industry best practice

Undertake mentoring, coaching, and formal training for Business Improvement staff, key stakeholders, and other staff seeking to utilise Business Improvement techniques

Undertake Business Improvement induction (to purpose, roles, processes etc.)

Develop case-study material and feed back to Business Improvement Centre of Excellence (CoE)

Act as method specialist and expert in Business Improvement – provide help, advice and guidance on tailoring

Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring on Business Improvement tools

Keep abreast of and evaluate the effectiveness of new Business Improvement tools and techniques.

We're looking for people who have:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project/Program Management or similar or equivalent industry experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in business improvement, delivering large-scale or transformational initiatives

Formal qualifications in at least one of the following (multiple qualifications are highly desirable):

Six Sigma Yellow Belt or above or equivalent

Certified Business Process Associate (CBPA®) or above or equivalent

PRINCE2® Project Management or above or equivalent

PROSCI® or Change Management Practitioner or above or equivalent

Driver Licence Class C unrestricted
