Our client is a privately owned boutique building contractor that specialises in commercial new build, fit out and refurbishment. The have secured ongoing negotiated work with several national brands from the retail and hospitality sectors as well as positioning themselves well with works associated with the 2032 Olympics here in Brisbane.

Due to this ongoing success and clear revenue projections, they are predicting steady growth in what is an incredibly exciting time for the business.

The Role

Due to the forecast growth, our client is looking for a new Project Manager to join the business. Operating with sophisticated processes and systems you will manage all commercial, safety, quality, and program outcomes for your projects. You will have the support of a CA/Cadet and Site Supervisor delivering a mixture of New Build, Fit Out and Refurbishment Projects in and around Brisbane up to $2m.

About you

Most importantly you will be a humble team player, intelligent, demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and commercial acumen. You will be a natural leader with top end potential to develop into a Senior Leader for the business and ultimately form part of a new leadership team as the business grows.

You will have demonstrated strong tenure and be able to provide references from your previous line manager.

The right candidate will have a Bachelor of Construction Management and 3+ Years’ experience as a Project Manager in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 principal building contractor in Brisbane. You will have been working as a Contract Administrator prior to promotion. You will have experience working on a diverse project portfolio and be client driven in your approach.
