Project Manager

Salary: Circa $200k with 5 day work week and no weekends
About the company:
Established Commercial builder with 25 years experience seeking a Project Manager to join established team with a strong project pipeline and excellent financials. Projects include New Build and refurbishment of hospitality, education and commercial buildings.
This builder has an excellent reputation within the Sydney Market, offer a good package and excellent work-life balance with a 5-day week and flexibility.

The Opportunity: We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with experience in the delivery of commercial projects to join this high-performing company. Alternatively there is an opportunity for a Project Engineer to move into a Project Manager role and take ownership of challenging projects.
This role is office-based with occasional visits to site to monitor progress. They work on a 5 day schedule so working Saturdays or staying late is not expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver full project lifecycle management, from feasibility through to handover
• Prepare and oversee project programs, cost plans, and resource allocations
• Act as key liaison across clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies
• Drive compliance with planning and regulatory requirements
• Produce clear and accurate project reporting to inform stakeholders
• Guide and support junior staff, promoting a collaborative culture

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Experience across commercial construction and fit out
• Strong capability in feasibility studies, project scheduling, and budget control.
• Proven expertise in managing tenders, contract negotiations, and procurement
• Clear and effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to oversee multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Competent in industry-standard project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
