About this position:

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Lawyer.

The Litigation Lawyer will take ownership of complex matters spanning general commercial disputes, debt recovery, and potentially insolvency litigation.

This role is ideal for a confident communicator who thrives in leading legal strategy and working closely with clients. You’ll also play a critical part in mentoring and supervising a small team of junior lawyers and a paralegal, contributing to both their development and the overall growth of the practice.
Expect exposure to:

• Contractual and business disputes
• Debt recovery actions across various sectors
• Shareholder and director disputes
• Commercial litigation with some exposure to insolvency-related matters

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years PAE in commercial litigation
• Strong communication skills with client-facing confidence
• Experience managing files from start to finish
• Exposure to debt recovery and insolvency matters (advantageous)
• Enthusiasm for team leadership and mentoring
