Warehouse Administrator Position

The Company

GBI logistics Pty Ltd is a privately owned, long established reputable 3pl warehousing and transport provider. The company has built a reputation for reliability and consistent service and respectful and mutually beneficial relationships with long standing clients (principals).

The Position

An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and competent warehouse office administrator.

This position will suit an experienced team player, who is focused on delivering a high level of customer service consistent with GBI’s values.

The role responsibilities will include;

· Receiving customer enquiries in a timely and organized manner via email and ERP systems.

· Coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries for various customers.

· Keep warehouse operations running smoothly with accurate invoicing and stock management.

· Ensuring data accuracy through maintaining records and updating systems.

· Assist the Warehouse Supervisors through general admin tasks and communication with the broader team.

The Candidate

Ideally the successful applicant should have:

· Proficiency in IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

· Experience using Carton Cloud and Pronto software essential.

· Previous experience in a warehousing/transport admin role.

· An understanding of warehousing/logistics principles to ensure the smooth running.

· Must have a high level of work ethic.

· A client focused attitude.

· A pleasant phone manner.

· Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.

· The ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.

· An aptitude for learning systems and processes as most of the brands use their own ERP systems.

· The ability to prioritize, problem solve and multitask and work in a high paced environment.

The position will be full time permanent (after an initial probationary period of 3 months) and the successful applicant will report directly to GBI Logistics Pty Ltd Director and his Brand Supervisor.

We are looking for someone a proactive, can-do attitude which is essential, and this role is perfect for an individual who approaches challenges with flexibility and a problem-solving mindset.
