We have an excellent opportunity for a Junior Warehouse Assistant to join our team at EX Engineering.
This is an entry-level position that provides exposure to various operational aspects of the business, including warehouse operations and workshop assembly. With ongoing training and support, this role offers future pathways into workshop, design, and technical support roles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse Duties:
Receiving and dispatching orders
Operating a forklift (training and licensing provided – no experience necessary)
Assisting with inventory management and stock control
General warehouse housekeeping to maintain a clean and organised work environment
Workshop Duties:
Assembling orders in the workshop
Supporting production activities
Special Project Support:
Assisting with inventory optimisation
Participating in relocation and maintenance projects
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, reliable, and enjoys working in a hands-on environment. No prior experience is required, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills are essential.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Energetic and enjoys physical, hands-on work
A strong team player with good communication skills
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
A positive and proactive attitude
Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical and be fit for work
Ability to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate
Current WA Driver’s Licence (preferred but not essential)
