The Opportunity:

• Support across accounts payable and receivable, including database entry
• Allocate invoices for approval and follow up
• Prepare vendor payment batches and reconcile credit card transactions
• Assist with month-end reporting and data entry
• Respond to customer and supplier queries promptly
• Monthly timesheet and mileage claim reporting for payroll
• Support team and manage/action Accounts inbox
• Maintain internal project software platforms
• Adhoc admin, other finance tasks and attend meetings where required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2 years of experience as an Accounts officer within the engineering sector - Relevant experience from other construction industries will also be taken into account
• Proficient in both Accounts Payable and Receivable – candidates with experience in only one area will still be considered
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
• A proactive and enthusiastic team player with a warm and approachable demeanor
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
