About the Role:

The Administrator (Educator Passport) is a key role that will support the successful implementation and ongoing use of Educator Passport through providing targeted administration pertaining to key duties aligned to the availability and functioning of the program. This role will have administrative responsibility for the daily operation of Educator Passport at Melbourne Polytechnic.
This role will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders including the Educator Passport Consortium (led by Chisholm Institute). Influencing internal stakeholders, supporting stakeholder engagement and communicating in a timely manner with MP users are key components of this role.

Duties:

All administrative duties relating to the key functions of Educator Passport, including (but not limited to):

Adding new users

Adding programs

Marking completions/attendance for professional learning & programs

Responding to user requests

Running reports as required

Providing key data and reports to relevant stakeholders

End of year rollover

Monitor and report on project activities, issues and risks, escalating as required

Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure timelines and key tasks are met.

Collaborating and liaising with the Educator Passport administrator consortium group, and attending monthly meetings

Provide advice to the consortium group and internal key stakeholders and users pertaining to the use of and potential improvements to Educator Passport

Write reports and prepare correspondence relating to Educator Passport under the direction of the PTP Director

Administrative support for the Professional Teaching Practice team as directed by the Director.

Skills and Experience Required:

Appropriate tertiary qualification and / or relevant work experience.

Demonstrated high level administrative skills including the ability to work independently and to coordinate administrative activities across delivery requirements in a designated work area.

Demonstrated digital litracy and technical proficiency with technology, software and programs including the full Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrated highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to exercise sound judgment and work in a self-directed manner.

Demonstrated ability to contribute positively and function effectively as a team member.

Demonstrated ability, commitment, and attitude to the provision of high-level customer service to all internal and external stakeholders.

High level written communication to enable the preparation of routine correspondence and reports.

Demonstrated ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organise key work tasks.

Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, and sustainable work practices.

A current Employee Working with Children Check Card will be required for the successful applicant.

Successful applicant must be able to attain new National Police Check.
