We are eager to grow our casual pool of familiar educators at Ekidna to continue to promote and support a sense of continuity and care for the children and our families.

We are seeking educator's who are experienced in the Early Childhood setting and have obtained their Certificate III, Diploma or ECT.

It is extremely important to us that we build on our long standing team members, as a casual educator at Ekidna you will be made to feel welcome and a valued part of our team. Our centre consists of 5 rooms, on two levels. Each with it's own personality and strong teams within each room that create such joyful environments for the children to play and learn in.

In a casual position our expectations and desires are:

Building strong relationships with the children and families

Assisting teams in providing engaging and exciting experiences for the children

Where possible, planning for children's individual curriculum

Using our Kinderm8 app to share Wow Moments and Learning Journeys with families

Assisting teams with the day to day job's for example cleaning, setting up, packing away, laundry

Flexible and reliable

Following all policy and procedures, National Regulations in ensuring a safe environment is provided for the children at all times

Shifts:

Shifts are available when our educator's are on leave (annual or sick leave.)

Notification of the shift might occur of a morning for that day or some may be in advance if covering annual leave.

We are open to you notifying us and telling us which days you are available whether this is on a weekly basis or in general.

The shift times will vary dependent on what is needed, for example 7:45-3:45 or 9:30-5:30.
