Busy Bees at Glenroy is a beautifully designed 75-place early learning centre, just 15 minutes from Melbourne Airport and close to shopping centres and public transport. Our passionate team is committed to delivering high-quality care and early learning through strong partnerships with families, a supportive environment, and a child-first philosophy.

We are currently seeking Casual Educators and a Casual Chef to join our dedicated team!

Location: Glenroy, VIC, Australia

👩‍🏫 Casual Educator Role
Salary: $33.53 - $41.30 (hourly)

As a Casual Educator, you will:

Support children's development through engaging, age-appropriate programs

Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment

Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and team members

Ensure compliance with Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and NQF standards

You’ll need:

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)

Valid Working with Children Check

Knowledge of EYLF and developmental milestones

Previous experience in a similar role is highly valued

👨‍🍳 Casual Chef Role
Salary: $36.53, as a casual. But we can also consider permanent part time chefs!

As our Casual Chef, you will:

Prepare and deliver nutritious meals and snacks for children, accommodating dietary requirements and allergies

Plan menus in line with nutritional guidelines and centre policies

Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety standards

Support a positive mealtime culture that promotes healthy habits

You’ll need:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant experience

Understanding of children’s dietary needs and allergy management

Experience in a childcare or similar setting preferred

Valid Food Safety Handling Certificate and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
