We have a full-time position available for an AMR Technician in our Robotics team. As a part of our field-based Service Technician team, you will be working daily to problem solve and ensure our solutions operate efficiently for our customers. Working onsite at our customers’ facilities, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs on our AMR systems. You will be expected to work both independently and as a part of a team to deliver customised supply chain solutions and motivated to become an SME of the system. You must be self-motivated, tenacious, and a natural problem solver.
Your main responsibility will be with the service, maintenance and troubleshoot of tickets to ensure timely and professional support to our customers in line with our SLA’s.

Role Responsibilities:

Responsible for repair, maintenance and service on AMR machines and equipment.

Responsible for scheduling-work and repairing products at customer locations.

Satisfy in a timely and complete fashion, all business reporting documentation including but not limited to timesheets, repair orders, machine checklists, receiving records, maintenance reports, expense reports, and repair order logs.

Work in with our Software Partners (Geek +) to understand and become an SME and first level software support locally for our clients

Troubleshoot and provide assistance and support on L1 Software Support tickets and escalating where necessary. Where escalated, providing timely updates to the customer and seeing the resolution through.

Meeting physical requirements of the role, and subject to pre-employment medical assessment

Troubleshooting and repair skills in mechanical and electrical systems. Many of our technicians have backgrounds in automotive mechanic, Robotics, or as a field service technician working on mobile and electrical equipment.

Ability to safely use hand and power shop tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices.

Must be able to read electrical schematics.

Providing ticketing updates, and resolution, within designated service levels

Coordination with other team members, and service providers, for those repairs which may be required on our customer’s sites

Manage the pools of spare parts and devices

Work with internal and broader external support, R&D, project, and engineering ecosystems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience working in direct contact with customers on service-related activities preferred.

Develop procedural documentation / reporting for other engineering and support teams

Assist in working with onsite engineering teams where required

Ability to travel interstate and overseas, subject to available personal time

Must display a positive attitude and desire to satisfy customer requirements.

Highly Regarded

Background in mechatronics, dual trade (electrical/mechanical), or relevant experience.

Background with automation controls systems, including industrial communication protocols.

Supply chain background will be highly regarded.
