About the role;

The Asset & Subcontractor Coordinator, is a Full Time position Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours p/w

Based out of our Head Office in Geraldton WA, though some site travel may be required from time to time when the larger projects mobilise.

In this role you will be responsible for the scheduling of our fleet, consisting of both owned & cross hired construction assets and ancillary equipment, as well as responsible for overseeing our subcontractor agreements and contract arrangements.

With an already developed system and framework in place to support the role, you will be working alongside a great team, ensuring you are set up for success. While our systems are supporting current process flow, we do welcome your experience and are open to fresh ideas to ensure we are continuously improving systems and keeping up with industry best practice.

The successful applicant will have experience in asset or subcontractor coordination, be a confident mover and shaker who can influence the workplace with their experience while meeting operational requirements.

Job Specific Responsibilities;

Maintain schedule of RDH and cross hired fleet within the RDH electronic systems

Maintain accurate records of asset utilisation, maintenance schedules, and cross hired asset repairs

Liaise with the relevant departments and projects in regard to asset movements and maintenance

Procurement and cross hiring of assets - we have established relationships and training will be provided here

Issuing of plant hire agreements - we have established contracts & relationships with training provided here

Complete asset paperwork for site mobilisation and project requirements

Maintaining plant utilisation and cost records - our systems support this process with training also provided

Reporting on plant – low/under-utilised plant, location, availability, defects, services due

Cost tracking across the plant dept – EOM Prep Reporting and workshop budget support function

Accreditation reporting – ownership of RAV file, Weekly HSEQ stats, workshop compliance (test/tag/lifting register/ inspections/ audit outcomes

Plant costs – cost allocation, invoice batching, hire agreement reviews

Keeping accurate records for auditing processes

Skills, Experience & Abilities;

Background and understanding of fleet & machinery - Heavy Earthmoving, Road Transport, Light Vehicles

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Intermediate to advanced computer skills including excel and outlook

Ability to read and interpret Project specific rosters to support asset scheduling

Understanding & interpretation of subcontractor agreements and manage ongoing compliance

Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment, learn new computer software's and systems promptly

Show initiative and ability to be switched on at all times

Reflect a positive solutions based attitude and strong work ethics

100 point ID check - National Police Clearance, Australian work rights and pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen as part of your onboarding

Education, Licenses & Training;

Valid C Class Manual drivers’ license (minimum)

Logistics coordination background

Contractor Management - highly favourable

Relative credentials in Construction / Civil Construction / Logistics - high favourable
