My client is a reputable accounting firm based in Brisbane CBD. A top 50 firm, they provide a full suite of accounting services to a longstanding client base made up of mainly large businesses, high net-worth individuals and family groups. They have good systems in place, a great team of accountants and all directors have a great reputation in the Brisbane market.

The Position

Due to an internal restructure the firm is looking for a Senior Manager to join the firm. Alongside the partner, the Senior Manager will be responsible for end of end management of a group of clients, and lead a skilled team of accountants, both inhouse and offshore. Having business development skills would be seen as an advantage for this role however is definitely not required.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have proven experience in the public accounting space and possess the following:

10+ years in public practice

Experience managing a large client portfolio (ideally of private clients)

High level tax knowledge & business advisory experience

Experience managing and mentoring a team

Strong communication skills

CA/CPA
