About the Company
Our client is a leading financial institution undertaking a large-scale transformation programme aimed at modernising its technology landscape and improving customer outcomes. With a focus on innovation and operational excellence, the bank is seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to support the successful delivery of a critical technology workstream.

The Role and Responsibilities
As Implementation Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of a technology solution within a broader programme of work. You will lead the planning and execution of the deployment phase, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and maintaining the implementation plan and deployment schedule
• Coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure readiness for go-live
• Managing the implementation of the solution, ensuring adherence to agreed scope, timelines, resources, and financial parameters
• Monitoring risks and issues, escalating where necessary, and driving resolution
• Managing a small to medium-sized project or a workstream within a larger program
• Providing clear reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums

About You

You will be a delivery-focused professional with a background in managing technology implementations in a complex banking environment. You bring a structured and collaborative approach to planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.

You will have:

• Proven years of experience within the banking and financial services sector
• A proven track record of managing small to medium projects or leading workstreams within larger programs
• Strong knowledge of implementation planning, risk and issue management, and project governance
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teams
• Experience delivering change within time and budget constraints
• Experience working with Microsoft Project
