About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Clinical Coordinator to lead their dental assisting team and ensure the highest standards of clinical efficiency and excellence. This role is ideal for a skilled dental assistant who is passionate about leadership, organisation, and patient care.

This role is full time, based in South Yarra - a stunning spot to work each day! Our client takes a science-based, holistic approach to dentistry, emphasising the connection between oral health and overall wellness. Using advanced technology and minimally invasive treatments, they provide care that stimulates natural healing processes for optimal patient outcomes.

The job:

• Collaborate with management to achieve business goals, with a focus on clinical efficiency and excellence.
• Lead, support, and mentor the dental assisting team to maintain high standards.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and well-organised clinical environment.
• Manage dental stock requirements and oversee ordering processes.
• Conduct periodic and spontaneous safety, infection control, and organisation audits.
• Handle human resourcing and performance management of the dental assisting team.
• Foster a kind, caring, and effective work environment for both staff and patients.
• Work closely with the Front-Office Coordinator to optimise patient scheduling and resourcing.
• Assist dentists in developing complex patient treatment plans.
• Provide outstanding chairside assistance and train new team members to deliver an exemplary patient experience.
• Balance clinical management, chairside assisting, and essential administrative duties

Who You Are:

• An experienced dental assistant with a passion for clinical excellence.
• A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and has proven experience leading a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Skilled in patient interaction and providing a high standard of care.
• Recent experience working chairside as a DA with a passion for this! Must be able to work chairside actively
