ABOUT THE POSITION

You’ll be responsible for estimating a range of fit-out projects, working closely with the project and design teams, liaising with subcontractors, managing costs, and driving the tender process from initial brief through to submission. This role gives you the autonomy to own your work, but the backing of a solid team when needed.

DUTIES

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates and tender submissions
• Interpret plans, specs, and scope documents
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing
• Assist with value engineering and project feasibility
• Handover successful tenders to the delivery team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 2–5 years’ experience estimating commercial fit-out projects
• Understanding of Sydney subcontractor pricing and current market conditions
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications
• Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines
• Experience with estimating software (e.g., Buildsoft, Cubit, CostX, Excel)
