Synaco by Synergie is currently seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a national leader in steel reinforcing manufacturing, based in Cavan. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs and adjustments
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and report maintenance issues
• Maintain compliance with WHS policies and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent
• Experience working as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• High attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing
• C-Class Electrical Licence or higher - preferred but not essential

• Casual Pay Rate: $56.82 per hour (Afternoon Shift)
• Afternoon Shift: 1:50pm - 10:00pm Mon-Thurs | Friday 12:00pm - 6:00pm
