• Urgent and immediate start;

This position is suitable for either a Snowflake Data warehouse data analyst and/or an Azure DataBricks / Data Factory Data Analyst – Python and SQL data mining are essential skills.

To be successful for this role, your CV will need to reflect on following skill-set:

• Extensive experience as a senior Technical Data Analyst / Data Developer working across large and complex backend data;
• Highly proficient in Python scripting and R / SQL for data mining and data analysis purposes;
• 3+ years in data analytics, with hands-on experience in Snowflake and/or Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or SQL Database).
• Demonstrated understanding of data warehousing and data modelling principals;
• Experience with Snowflake features like SnowSQL, Streams, or Tasks (highly desirable but not essential).
• Familiarity with Azure tools such as Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Power BI.

This position will see you working with data stored on Snowflake and Azure cloud data warehouses. You will predominantly be responsible to extract, cleanse and model this data for reporting and dashboarding / visualisation purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimise data models, ETL/ELT processes, and queries in Snowflake and/or Azure environments.
• Analyse complex datasets to generate actionable insights and reports for stakeholders.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Snowflake Snowpipe.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor and improve performance of data workflows and queries.
• Stay updated on Snowflake and Azure best practices and emerging trends.
