About the role

Join our dynamic team at Praktis Allied Health as a full-time, part time or contractor Occupational Therapist. We are have a senior team of OT's ready to support your practice with a comprehensive supervision program, peer mentoring, inservices and paid professional development.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to ensure our clients recieve the supports they need to live engaged and active lives

Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in the community to support client goals

Document client progress, maintain detailed clinical records and prepare reports

Participate in team meetings, inservice program, supervision and peer mentoring

Engage in professional development to stay up to date with industry best practices

What we're looking for

AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist

Drivers licence and own vehicle

Minimum 3 years'+ experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably with clients with ASD or mental health or willingness to develop skills with this caseload

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care
