They are now seeking a Design Technician / Drafter to support their growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing high-quality foundation and retaining wall designs and documentation, contributing to a variety of impactful projects

Responsibilities

• Deliver drawings and designs that comply with industry standards
• Provide technical support to customers and respond to email and phone enquiries
• Check completed designs for accuracy and compliance to standards and National Construction Code
• Develop expertise in soil properties and their influence on building foundation design, and apply this knowledge to your work tasks

Skills and attributes

• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in foundation or structural design, preferably with a residential focus
• Knowledgeable on AS2870 and AS1170
• Understanding of soil properties and laboratory testing process
• Inquisitive with a willingness to learn
• Team player, contribute to collaborative culture
• Full working rights in Australia
