Key Responsibilities:
Conduct damage assessments of infrastructure (roads, bridges, public assets) using field inspections and photographic evidence.
Use GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, Nearmaps) to analyze and manage spatial data.
Estimate repair costs, collaborate with engineers, and prepare technical reports.
Support project coordination for civil infrastructure repairs, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
Associate Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Proficiency in QGIS / QField / Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Experience in cost estimation and road assessment.
Knowledge of Australian standards for civil engineering and infrastructure.
Familiarity with Document Management Systems (e.g., SharePoint, Dropbox).
Experience with Machine Learning / AI for road damage recognition and infrastructure analysis.
Proficiency in Google Earth Pro for geographic data visualization.
Experience with FME for data integration and transformation.
Ability to lead teams and coordinate project efforts effectively.
