The Role

We are currently seeking a capable and motivated Civil Design Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our civil team full-time.

In this role, you will work on a wide variety of land development and infrastructure projects - from subdivisions and medium density infill developments to intersections, road widenings, and water/sewer design.

You will be supported by a knowledgeable, down-to-earth team, and have the opportunity to take real ownership of your work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing technical civil engineering advice on land development and infrastructure projects.

Developing concept and detailed engineering designs.

Drafting and producing design drawings and construction documentation using AutoCAD and 12d

Liaise with Councils and local authorities to obtain relevant design approvals.

Coordinating with external consultants, builders, developers, and clients to ensure smooth, timely project delivery.

What we’re looking for:

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent tertiary engineering qualification).

2–4 years of civil design experience in a consulting environment, specifically with land development and infrastructure projects.

Completion of MRWA Design Assurance Scheme (DAS), with valid Sewer and Water design certificates.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and 12d.

Site experience in managing and supervising construction work as a superintendent (not required but would be highly regarded).

Strong technical knowledge and a solid understanding of local Council standards, VicRoads specifications, Austroads guidelines and MRWA Sewer & Water codes and standards.

Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
