Workfast is looking for a Despatch Officer for a valued client based in Lansdale, WA, working NIGHT SHIFT paying $43.36 Per Hour, Inclusive of Night Shift Loading.

Always dedicated to delivering the finest results, our client manufactures a wide range of their products using COLORBOND® materials. This amazing, versatile and attractive product is ideal for the manufacture of a variety of metal solutions including fencing, roof trusses, specialised trailers and roofing sheets. Our client manufacture and supply the product in three profiles of roofing. These are Corrugated, Comclad® and Comrib 50.

• Monday - Thursday, 06.00pm - 02.00am, Friday, 04.00pm - 12.00am

What you need:

• Australian C-Class Driver's License & Own Car
• Forklift License & experience required
• Basic computer skills
• Sideloader experience desired but not essential
• HR/HC truck license desired but not essential
• Any other tickets helpful.

What you will be doing:

The Despatch Officer (Yard) is responsible for loading, packing, handling, and transporting stock and finished
products in preparation for customer pick-ups and transport deliveries, including the safe operation of a forklift to
complete these duties.

• Operate forklift to load and unload trucks in liaison with Despatch, Production, and Sales.
• Load company delivery vehicles with ordered goods.
• Provide service to customers and colleagues in a timely, professional manner.
• Check all orders for accuracy and damage, and make corrections if necessary.
• Safe operation of mobile equipment; storage and use of all required hand tools.
• Communication to Leading Hand or Supervisor regarding:
  - Low or depleted stock levels.
  - Any safety hazards, incidents, and near-misses.
  - Maintenance requests for all equipment used.
• Completion of required paperwork correctly and with relevant details.
• Keep own and surrounding work area clean and tidy, including Stores/Despatch.
• Assist Stores when required with processing orders from both customers and delivery manifest and to wrap
  and strap finished goods to company standards.
• Completion of all work in an accurate and timely manner.
• Completion of all set work.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including relevant work instructions and safety procedures.
• Any other duties or tasks as reasonably requested.
