DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Manager, Supply & Distribution in Sydney.

The role is responsible for assigned customers to determine best supply solutions regarding the supply, storage, and distribution of goods.

Your typical day at DSV:

Stock

• Liaise with customers to determine best stock levels and plan to ensure determined stock levels are maintained

• Record and track all stock movements in and out of warehouse, from suppliers and customers

Financial

• Control direct costs and indirect/overheads costs relating to the accounts

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers involved in accounts

• Review supplier performance

Development & Commercial

• Directly manage key commercial leads to increase revenue on accounts

• Align invoicing with contract and rates conditions

Operations

• Prepare strategies that ensure ongoing viability and tenure of the accounts

• Build a strategic partnership with other business divisions

• Manage and oversee Warehouse and Domestic Transportation operation. Ensure KPI level vs. expectations

• Lead key monthly & quarterly operational review

• Control & challenge operational costs

• Ensure compliance of procurement with company rules

People Management

• Direct and train managers in operational best practice

• Provide advice to management and customers on optimal supply, storage and distribution of the goods being handled.

About You:

- Hold a Bachelor's degree with a strong foundation in logistics and supply chain principles

- Bring over 2 years of hands-on experience in the freight forwarding and logistics industry

- Skilled in managing and nurturing customer accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention

- Possess solid operational knowledge of both warehousing and transport functions, including inbound and outbound processes

- Proficient in using CargoWise One (CW1) with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), supporting smooth inventory control and order fulfillment
