Invest Blue has an exciting opportunity to join us in Melbourne. We are seeking an experienced Technical Officer to work in the Melbourne office/hybrid, full-time, joining the energetic Merger & Acquisition team.

This role will be responsible for the technical aspects of onboarding new partners. You will have the opportunity to execute agreed strategy/plans through both pre and post settlement phases. You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, through due diligence and ultimate settlement and integration.

About you:

Key role responsibilities:

· Vendor and Stakeholder Relationship Management - Working and liaising with key parties to facilitate the onboarding and legal settlement of new partners.

· Legal settlement - facilitation/preparation of non-disclosure agreement (NDA), Non-Binding Indicative Offer (NBIO), Due Diligence process, Final Approvals, Sale Agreement and settlement requirements

· Opportunity Pipeline Management - activity reporting, participation in reviewing opportunities against business strategy, facilitating initial vendor requirements and internal analysis

· Working with the internal Project Sponsor to develop the necessary initial documentation and communication.

· Managing due diligence process - co-ordinating stakeholder communications, managing scope, risks and deliverables.

· Production of key business transactional documents seeking approval for non-binding and final approvals.

· Co-ordinate key technical requirements working closely with the Project Office to ensure deliverables and timeframes are met by stakeholders.

· Working with legal to conclude Sale and Purchase Agreements, settlement checklists and required settlement documents.

· Updating and maintaining new opportunity pipeline and workflow documents of potential opportunities across the business.

· Assist in the development, maintenance and on-going enhancement of key Merger & Acquisition (M&A) policies and processes.

· Coordinate and deliver regular reporting on opportunities/new partners during all phases of the transaction.

Desired Skills and Experience

· Strong experience in merger and acquisition settlement requirements - legal contracts, approval requirements, vendor liaison.

· A degree in Finance, Business or Law (or relevant industry experience).

· Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, achieving significant business growth.

· Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft products - specifically word, excel and teams

· Demonstrated organisational and communication skills.

· Standard background checks include but are not excluded to criminal history, bankruptcy, ASIC.

Remuneration package offered ranges between $110,000 -$140,000, including super and leave loading, dependent on level of education and experience.
