As a Part-Time Respiratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality respiratory care and support to patients. What you'll be doing

Performing a range of respiratory function tests, including spirometry, diffusion capacity, and bronchial challenge testing

Interpreting test results and providing detailed reports to clinicians

Educating patients on respiratory health and the importance of proper breathing techniques

Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive respiratory care

Assisting in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of department protocols

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Respiratory Science or a related healthcare field

Demonstrated experience in performing a range of respiratory function tests

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret test results accurately

Excellent communication and patient education skills

Proficient in the use of respiratory diagnostic equipment and computer software
