About the role

Bethania Lutheran School is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious school bus driver to join our team. As a part-time School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting our students to and from school, we are a door-to-door service. This role offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to be a valued part of our vibrant school community.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating a school bus to transport students to and from school

Adhering to all traffic laws and school policies to ensure the safety of students

Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain the bus in good working condition

Assisting students on and off the bus as needed

Providing a positive and welcoming environment for students during the commute

Communicating effectively with parents and school administrators.

What we're looking for

A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record

Minimum LR licence qualification

A valid driver's Authority and Blue Card or be willing to attain one.

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of students

Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including early mornings and afternoons

Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records
