HiHi Burger was founded by Paul Allam, the visionary behind Bourke Street Bakery. After spending seven years in NYC, he developed an obsession with smash burgers and perfect fries. Now, he's bringing that passion for premium ingredients and bold flavors to a fast, fun, and high-energy food concept.

We’re launching a high-energy, quality-driven smash burger concept focused on great food, efficient operations, and an outstanding customer experience. Our goal is to build a tight-knit, supportive team that takes pride in delivering simple food, done exceptionally well—every time.

The Role

We’re looking for cooks who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen and take pride in executing simple, repeatable tasks with precision and consistency. You’ll be responsible for working across multiple stations—grill, fryer, cold station, and prep—to deliver high-quality food, fast.

This role is ideal for someone who loves structured systems, kitchen efficiency, and working in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Kitchen Operations & Execution

Work across grill, fryer, cold station, and prep to ensure consistent, high-quality food.

Follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards with precision.

Maintain speed and efficiency during high-volume service periods.

2. Teamwork & Culture

Support your teammates—no egos, no heroes, just a tight crew getting it done.

Be part of a kitchen culture of excellence, where every role matters.

Communicate effectively to keep service flowing smoothly.

3. Cleanliness & Food Safety

Maintain a clean and organised workspace at all times.

Follow workplace health, hygiene, and safety standards—no exceptions.

Handle food safely and ensure proper stock rotation.

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills

Previous kitchen experience mandatory (but attitude matters more than years in a kitchen).

Ability to execute simple, repetitive tasks with precision and pride.

Strong work ethic and ability to handle fast-paced service.

Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
