We are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Farm Operations Assistant to join our modern irrigated and dryland cropping enterprise located between Gunnedah and Boggabri, NSW.

You will work directly with management and a small team to help deliver consistent, high-quality crop production across our diverse farming operation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in field preparation, planting, spraying, and harvesting

Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and equipment

Run irrigation systems including lateral moves and siphons

Perform general farm maintenance and weed control

Operate combine harvester, telehandler, forklift, self-propelled and optical sprayer, earthmoving equipment, spreader, row crop and broad-acre 12 metre planting implements.

Maintain accurate records using Agworld or similar systems

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

Strong initiative and planning ability

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow

Attention to detail, with good time and task management

Respect for people, livestock, machinery, and safety

Experience in farming operations preferred, but not essential

Accurate record-keeping and digital literacy
