Position: Turf Farm Heavy Machinery Operator
Location: Little Mulgrave
Full-Time / Permanent / Long-Term Position/ not suitable for Work and Holiday Visa Holder
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain farm machinery, including JCB Telehandler, harvesters, tractors and other equipment essential for turf farm operations.
• Assist with turf maintenance tasks, ensuring top-quality products are produced.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure smooth, efficient farm operations.
• Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical issues, performing maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as JCB Telehandler, harvesters, and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Interest or background in greenkeeping, turf maintenance, or related fields.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality turf.
• A valid driver’s license and any necessary certifications.

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience in turf farming or agriculture.
• Knowledge of turf care and maintenance techniques.
• Experience with other farm machinery and tools.
