Immediate Start

We are seeking a Machinery Operator/Farm Hand to join our team at W.H. Heck and Son in Woongoolba, QLD. This full-time position is responsible for operating and maintaining a range of agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as assisting with general farm duties to support our sugar cane farming operations.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain a variety of farming machinery and equipment such as tractors, harvesters, and sprayers

Assist with planting, harvesting, and other crop management tasks

Perform general farm maintenance and upkeep duties

Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and serviced

Work collaboratively with the farming team to support the smooth running of operations

What we're looking for

Knowledge of farming practices and crop management techniques

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic

Valid driver's licence and HR truck licence
