About the opportunity - shifts available for immediate start!

We are seeking mature female disability support workers (40+ years old) to provide supports to meet specific client requirements in the Geelong area. Experience is preferred for this role and training is provided for successful applicants.

On offer is an opportunity to work in a committed, friendly team environment with the support of a responsive Administration and Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

Actively engage clients in activities to help them achieve their goals

Support clients with domestic tasks

Assistance with personal care

Provide transportation assistance

Develop a rapport with team members and the client's broader support networks

Observe and report any changes in client wellbeing and maintain daily progress notes

Be aware of safety issues and report changes in risks to staff and clients

About you

We are looking for resilient, reliable and enthusiastic mature women (40+) who can demonstrate maturity, have great values and a caring, person-centred focus.

Mandatory requirements:

Available to work the following shifts: 8 - 10am in Herne Hill, 5.30 - 7.30pm in Ocean Grove

and 4 - 7pm in Grovedale.

Have availability to work either Saturday or Sunday.

Current valid driver’s licence

Working With Children Check (can apply if successful)

NDIS Worker Screening Check (can apply if successful)

Willingness to assist clients with personal care

Mature female (40+)

Cert IV in Disability or equivalent qualification, or relevant experience or lived experience with disability - desirable but not essential as we provide training and support

Current First Aid & CPR certificate
